HOP Presentations
Schools
The Hungry Owl Project is available for school presentations at the Marin Art & Garden Center (MAGC) in Ross. Schools are invited to arrange a field trip to participate in a presentation on "Beneficial Predators" featuring live birds of prey.
Please contact us, during business hours, to arrange a presentation.
When possible our education ambassador, Wookie the Barn Owl will be part of the presentation.

The Hungry Owl Project has a permit from the California Department of Fish and Game to have, and present, this beautiful non-releasable owl, as a wildlife ambassador. Wookie was found as a baby owl and, instead of being turned over to a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility, was kept as a family pet.
Other birds of prey from WildCare may also be part of selected presentations.
It is illegal to keep native wildlife as pets. Wild things belong in the wild, not in a cage.
For other presentations, Homeowners, Environmental groups and companies etc., please contact us to discuss your ideas so that we can customize our presentation for alternative methods of rodent control, including owls.
A suggested minimum fee of $125 is greatly appreciated and will be put towards improving all of our programs. Please note: we are not permitted to do presentations at private homes.
